Our youth minister, Weekenson Moise and his team have been working hard to build up our youth ministries program. This program is geared toward girls and boys ages 3-12.
We currently have three parts of this ministry. The first is our Junior Church program, which meets every Sunday year-round. The second is our Kids Club which meets from September to June each year on Saturdays from 10-12. The third part is our in-home visitation. We will be updating you on Junior Church and Visitations efforts soon.
Today we’d like to share with you some highlights from our Saturday Kids Club and some photos from the year end party at the beach.
This year we had the privilege of sharing the gospel and many fun times with 125 kids each week.
We bring the kids together each week and play some games, things like frisbee, jump rope, limbo, puzzles and coloring. After the activity time, we have a song time with the children. A health lesson and a bible story follow the singing time. We pray the children and encourage them to share their stories with us.
This year we were blessed to see 25 of these young souls accept Jesus as their personal savior.
At the end of each season we take the kids to the beach for an end of the year party. Hope you enjoy the photos.
It is only because of the generosity of our supporters that we can offer these precious children this safe and fun time to come together to learn and grow.
